Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and deliver a smooth pickup experience. You will shop orders accurately, handle payments, and assist customers at the carside area with a friendly, efficient approach.

The role emphasizes quick tech adoption, strong service mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail or cashier experience is helpful, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using proper bagging standards.
