Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders accurately and efficiently, delivering a smooth pickup experience for customers. You’ll work a schedule with early mornings through evenings and participate in a fast-paced team environment.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first approach.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
