Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to help drive customer loyalty by turning online orders into fast, accurate curbside pickups. You’ll guide shoppers from order to carside retrieval, ensuring a smooth start-to-finish experience.

The role emphasizes friendly service, quick learning of new technologies, and collaboration with store teams. A high school diploma is required, with 1 year of retail or cashier experience preferred, and you must be able to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
• In short: you’ll turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.
