Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish. You’ll help drive customer loyalty with accurate order fulfillment and friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous curbside service with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers in person and on the phone and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select, scan, verify, and bag items according to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
