Job summary

Meijer is hiring for a Digital Clerk to drive a smooth curbside pickup experience, turning online orders into fast, accurate pickups. You will greet customers, fulfill orders, and maintain positive relations with teammates across the store.

We value a service mindset, quick learning of new technologies, and an ability to follow procedures. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus, with physical tasks required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate curbside order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude (in person and on the phone).
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
