Job summary

Food City is seeking a Personal Shopper Coordinator to manage curbside pickup orders, communicate with customers, process payments, and ensure high-order accuracy. You will coordinate shoppers, train staff, and maintain daily paperwork while supporting store-level sales growth.

The role emphasizes on-site work, strong customer service, and knowledge of e-commerce operations to deliver outstanding service across the Go-Cart team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Abundant knowledge and experience with E-Commerce operations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to take leadership role in training and coaching team members on skills needed to adequately perform job duties.
• Ability to prioritize and handle cross-functional tasks.
• Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Ability to run a cash register, POS system, telephone, and other equipment as needed.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with customers of various socioeconomic levels.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to communicate the value of Curbside Pickup.
• Monitor emails/Teams for promotions or issues.
• Coordinate and process online orders efficiently from shopping to pickup.
• Train and support Shoppers as needed.
• Maintain order paperwork and reports for three months.
• Ensure freshness and accuracy of every order.
• Communicate with customers about order status and substitutions.
• Learn Food City promotions to educate customers on savings opportunities.
