Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill customer online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, creating a seamless pickup experience from start to finish.

You will greet customers, collect payment, and maintain positive relationships with shoppers and team members while following store policies and curbside procedures. Training will be provided; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
