Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, turning online orders into ready-for-pickup experiences. You’ll greet customers, verify items, scan, bag, and ensure a smooth carside handoff while following food safety standards.

With a focus on service, you’ll learn new technologies, work with store teams, and contribute to reliable pickup windows. High school diploma and strong communication skills required; retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
