Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, delivering a smooth pickup experience from start to finish.

You will greet customers, process orders, handle payments, and maintain a clean curbside area. A high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a customer-first approach are required, with prior retail or cashier experience preferred. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• As a Digital Clerk, you'll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.
• Provide remarkable curbside service at the pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone, and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, store leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
