Job summary

Willie’s Grill & Ice House in Texas is hiring a dynamic Curbside/Carry Out Team Member to provide friendly guest-first service, accurately taking orders and delivering meals using our POS system.

You will maintain a clean workstation, follow sanitation standards, and support fellow team members in a fast-paced environment focused on scratch-made food and community fun.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred, high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate as required.
• Strong verbal communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and manage workflow independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, timely “Guest First” service ensuring all orders are perfect and guests feel valued.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to sanitation standards.
• Assist fellow team members and support a cooperative service environment.
• Follow company policies including dress code, clock-in/out times, and safety guidelines.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, coupons, and gift cards according to established procedures.
• Attend company meetings and training seminars to continuously improve skills.
