Position Overview

We’re looking for an Operator responsible for operating a curb machine along with several other types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The equipment may include, but is not limited to, skid steers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate curb machine and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends as needed.
• Tolerate and work in variable weather, dirty and dusty environments.
• Be willing to labor as needed when not operating equipment.
• Maintain valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Adhere to safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (equivalent preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a curb machine.
• Willingness to become a union member; Member of Local Operators Union or willingness to become a union member required.
• Successfully pass or has passed the Operators Union aptitude test when required.
