Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a qualified operator to run a Curb Machine and various construction equipment on commercial and industrial sites across the Midwest. The role includes labor duties when not operating machinery, with travel between sites as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), can work varied hours, and is dependable in all weather conditions. Union membership is optional but encouraged where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• A Class A CDL is desired but not necessary prior to hire
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Experience operating equipment desired
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a Curb Machine desired
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
• Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions
• Able to work in dirty and dusty environments
• Willingness to labor as needed when not operating equipment
• Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member, required; union membership is not required prior to employment
• Successfully pass or have passed the Operators Union aptitude test when required
