Job summary

smcinternalcareers is seeking a Grounds Person to maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and exterior maintenance across the community. This full-time role includes inventorying cleaning supplies, reporting low stock, and assisting with snow/ice removal to support safe operations.

You will perform daily ground checks, coordinate with management, and help with apartment turnover when required. A high school diploma or GED is expected, with the ability to lift 80 pounds and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all community common areas.
• Ensure sidewalks, parking areas and interiors are free of trash and debris.
• Perform daily audits of grounds and report findings to management.
• Assist with apartment turnover as needed.
• Test smoke detectors in vacant apartments.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and customers.
• Contribute to community engagement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
