Job summary

Novolex in St. Charles, Illinois, is seeking an Assistant Cup Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday). You will feed WIP into cup machines, assist the Cup Operator, and ensure smooth operation of conveyors while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the line.

The role offers growth opportunities, a defined pay range with shift differential, and benefits. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Feeds WIP blanks to cup machines and assists Cup Operator.
• Maintains operation of feed bed by continuously feeding WIP on the conveyors.
• Keeps oil reservoirs filled and inspects cups after splice.
• Starts and stops machines and clears jams; trains new assistants as needed.
