Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is hiring a Cup Operator at our Shelbyville, IL facility to maintain cup machines, load blanks, and ensure product quality. You will follow safety procedures, keep work areas organized, and coordinate with the shift team.

The position offers a $1,500 retention bonus for new hires and qualifying rehires, starting at $21.47 per hour with progression to $22.05 at six months, plus $1.15 night-shift differential. Benefits begin after the start date.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical background and ability to use hand tools safely.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a safe and orderly manner.
• Attend and participate in daily team production meetings.
• Notify supervisor of problems beyond cup operator duties.
• Load blanks on paper cup finishers and monitor machine operation.
• Maintain 5S in the work area.
• Complete shut-down/start-up procedures on finishers and related equipment.
