Job summary

INPEACE is seeking a Program Director to lead the Kupu Ola Program on the Waianae Coast, integrating Hawaiian culture-based education in an outdoor garden with HIDOE teachers. You will oversee after-school programming, grant management, staff training, and program evaluation, while building partnerships to expand services for Hawai‘i’s youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of Hawaiian practices and place-based learning.
• Experience in staff management and training.
• Ability to work with state-level agencies and partners.
• Strong writing and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in hiring program staff.
• Oversee management of culture-based education programs as assigned.
• Ensure communication among managers and staff.
• Coordinate activities and contracts of consultants.
• Train staff and supervise program delivery.
• Ensure funds are expended and accounted for.
• Lead curriculum development for Culture Based Education programs.
• Maintain relationships with partner institutions and community leaders.
