Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Project Manager – Cultural Resources to lead client relationships, supervise staff, and drive successful projects within our Cultural Resources Program. This full-time role reports to the Cultural Resources Team Lead and requires overseeing proposals, scopes, schedules, budgets, and regulatory compliance, with travel as needed.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Anthropology or Archaeology and have extensive experience managing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field.
• Four years in Cultural Resource Management or environmental consulting, including two years managing projects.
• Two years of supervisory experience, field or office.
• Demonstrated expertise in federal, state, and local cultural resources laws and regulations.
• Project management experience includes working on a variety of project types and sizes, in multiple regions, with various regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of projects from start to finish.
• Oversee project management, safety, and quality programs.
• Develop proposals, scopes, plans, schedules, KPIs, invoices, and budgets.
• Coordinate project teams and resources to meet milestones for compliance, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to staff; mentor team members.
