Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Iowa is seeking a Cultural Resource Project Manager to oversee archaeological surveys, site evaluations, and client relationships. The role involves managing multiple projects, ensuring planning, budgeting, and timely deliverables while coordinating with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology with 2+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology with 5+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Midwest prehistoric and historic periods, artifacts, architectural styles and contexts.
• Experience with State and Federal cultural resource regulations and environmental review processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SOI-qualified Archaeological Principal Investigator for cultural resources projects.
• Coordinate cultural resources research, surveys, excavations, and reporting with project staff.
• Oversee cultural resources construction monitoring, including coordination with crews, site documentation, material identification and report preparation.
• Provide project management support for cultural resource services to internal teams and clients.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for cultural resource tasks.
• Write, review, and assess cultural resources reports prior to submission.
• Travel to project sites and related locations.
• Support and lead cultural resources business development initiatives across company operations.
