The City of Oakland is seeking a Program Analyst III (Selective Certification - Cultural Funding Coordinator) to join the Economic & Workforce Development Department's Cultural Affairs Division, supporting grantmaking, contracts, and program development. The role coordinates meetings, analyzes data, and reports to City leadership, with emphasis on equity and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts administration or related field.
• Four years of cultural funding program administration experience.
• Experience leading teams and supervising staff.
• Strong grant writing, monitoring, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of Oakland’s cultural landscape preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant cycles from application to evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and assess cultural programs.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.
• Manage contracts and budgets with accuracy.
• Represent the Division at public meetings and events.
