Concordia College in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Part-Time Cook for Concordia Language Villages. The role supports culturally authentic meals, menu planning, kitchen leadership, and staff training within a collaborative culinary team.

Ideal candidates bring 3 months to 2 years of related experience, read/write ability, and a willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with competitive pay and benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Three months to two years of experience in a related job.
• Must be able to read & write.
• Preferred: quantity cooking or baking experience.
• supervisory experience and/or proven leadership qualities.
• Able to work a varied schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Knowledge of a second language preferred

Responsabilités

• Support cooking operations and meal preparation.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety and sanitation.
• Assist with menu planning and production scheduling.
• Contribute to a positive kitchen culture and team training.
• Collaborate with staff to support immersive educational programming.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering and production.
• Complete records as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Arts team and Concordia College.
