Job summary

MONROE CULTIVATION is seeking a Cultivation Technician to support daily cultivation and harvest activities in a regulated facility. The role requires attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to follow SOPs precisely.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable with repetitive hands-on work, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs at times. METRC experience is a plus, with a focus on safety and compliance during trim/harvest days.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures in a regulated environment.
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work and working at a steady pace.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; frequent bending/reaching.
• Must meet any applicable state/regulatory employment requirements.
• Cultivation, greenhouse, agriculture, horticulture, or production/manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with METRC is a huge bonus!

Responsibilities

• Daily plant care: watering/feeding, transplanting, pruning/defoliation, trellising
• Maintain clean, organized work areas; follow sanitation and PPE requirements
• Support harvest/trim: harvesting, bucking, sorting, hanging/drying support, trimming assistance
• Perform room checks and report issues (pests, mold, nutrient stress, equipment problems)
• Complete required logs and documentation accurately (paper and/or digital)
• Follow all SOPs and compliance procedures (batch integrity, chain of custody, waste handling)
• Perform other duties as assigned by Cultivation manager.
