Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a diligent Cultivation Associate to support daily plant operations in our Scranton facility. You will perform routine cultivation tasks, input seed-to-sale data, and help maintain clean, safe growing rooms in line with SOPs.

Responsibilities include big leafing, pruning in flower rooms, inventory checks, IPM monitoring, and adhering to GACP/GMP guidelines. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Desk-based computer tasks occasionally.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
• Occasional twisting/bending/stooping/squatting, kneeling/crawling.
• Must communicate orally with management and co-workers; able to use telephone and e-mail.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally; good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned shifts and support management to follow SOPs.
• Initial cultivate-focused duties with ongoing expansion.
• Daily plant work including big leafing and bottom stripping in flower rooms; data input.
• Weekly tasks: spot cleaning, flipping blocks, watering, light maintenance.
• Monthly tasks: harvesting, IPM monitoring, inventory counts, safety meetings.
• Follow all SOPs and GACP/GMP guidelines; adhere to safety policies.
