Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking general hatchery labor to support chick pull, cleaning incubation equipment, and delivering chicks to farms. You will assist with stacking, sanitation, and tray wash while adhering to safety rules.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability and the ability to work in hot, wet, and dusty conditions, with potential exposure to cleaners and disinfectants. EOE, including disability/vets.

Qualifications

• Experience with hatchery operations preferred.
• Ability to work holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, dusty environments.

Responsibilities

Overview

Responsibilities

• Help with chick pull, cleaning of incubation equipment, delivery of chicks to farms, and other general hatchery labor. Tasks include stacking, sanitation, and tray wash.
• Must be able to work holidays as scheduled.
• Work with cleaners and disinfectants and follow all safety rules.
• Must be able to obtain Moffett if necessary.
• Work areas are hot, wet, and dusty and may require hearing protection and eye protection.
• Able to work weekends.
• All other tasks assigned by management.
