Job summary

Goodwill Greater New York and Northern New Jersey (GWNYNJ) seeks a compassionate Mental Health Generalist for our Culinary Wellness Unit in Long Island City, NY. You will work with adults living with psychiatric disabilities and/or substance use disorders to build skills and access resources in a supportive clubhouse setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily unit tasks, engaging members in healthy living activities, and assisting with food planning, documentation, and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with mental health or vocational support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support members in achieving recovery, employment, education, and social goals.
• Oversee Welcome & Intake Unit daily operations and improve unit functioning.
• Engage with Clubhouse members to coordinate nutrition wellness activities, workshops, and events.
• Coordinate food orders and manage weekly kitchen supplies.
