Timber Ridge at Talus, Issaquah, WA, seeks a Utility Technician/Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support fine dining operations. The role includes pot washing, dishwashing, and general cleaning, with a focus on efficiency and sanitary standards in a senior living setting.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20–$22, a $2000 retention bonus, and a full-time PM schedule. Benefits include DailyPay, insurance options, 401(k) with match, PTO, and meal provisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Prep Cook with Dishwasher responsibilities in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution.
• Food Handlers certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform arithmetic.
• Ability to plan and organize work.

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.

• Basic understanding of English.

General Summary:

The Utility technician/Dishwasher performs several kitchen activities including pot washing, dishwashing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works indoors; must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the workday; must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently; must be able to push and pull bus carts and tray carts weighing up to 100 lbs. independently; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to perform sweeping/mopping functions with ease. May be exposed to quick variance of hot and cold temperatures from ovens and freezers. May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and to hot water temperatures regularly.
