Qualifications

• Professional training through a culinary education is required.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced fine dining restaurant/catering facility is required.
• Previous supervisory capacity in a kitchen is required.
• Able to operate standard kitchen equipment (broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, chef knife).
• Strong communication to maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.
• Team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven capability.

Responsibilities

• Supervises kitchen staff and ensures proper food preparation.
• Controls food and labor costs and conducts periodic inspections.
• Manages monthly inventory and ensures timely delivery of quality food.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Plans menus with Executive/Sous Chef and estimates consumption.
• Ensures attendance and supports event schedules.
