Job summary

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, FL and related properties are seeking a Culinary Supervisor to lead the kitchen team and ensure high-quality food production across outlets, room service, and catering. The role emphasizes supervising in the Sous Chef's absence and delivering consistent, safe, and exceptional dining experiences.

Ideal candidates will have prior culinary experience and be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced resort

Description:

The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for the production and execution of food products as well as supervising the culinary team in the absence of the Sous Chef. The supervisor is responsible for cooking, preparing and garnishing food. The supervisor may work in a catering culinary setting or in a standard restaurant on the property.

Previous culinary experience is required.

Qualifications

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
• Must be able to stand the majority of the work shift.
• May be exposed to weather conditions or exposed heat conditions whether working at the Grand Pavilion Beachside Burgers or in a fast paced kitchen.
