Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly culinary supervisor to join Swain County Hospital and lead the food and nutrition team. You will ensure patient meals are prepared accurately and delivered promptly, while delivering excellent service to patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, coordinating day/evening/night shifts, and upholding health and safety standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old

• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience ( cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare )

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
