Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is seeking a friendly, compassionate Culinary Supervisor to join the hospital kitchen team at Swain County Hospital. You will support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team, ensuring patient meals are accurate and delivered promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members to ensure smooth operations of patient meals and dining.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal matching orders and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for patients, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Culinary Supervisor Wage: $18/hour Full-time and part-time positions available Day/Evening/Night shifts available Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required Location: Swain County Hospital

Responsibilities

• Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience (cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
