Job summary

HHS is hiring for a hospital culinary team member at Raleigh General Hospital. You will cook meals, support the patient dining program, cafe, and catering events under the supervision of the chef/production manager.

Roles include day, evening and night shifts; candidates must pass a background check and drug screen; healthcare foodservice exp is preferred and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen (fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, line cook, healthcare foodservice).

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow cleaning, sanitation and closing procedures.

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
