Job summary

ZWILLING J.A. Henckels LLC's Cooking Studio in Pleasantville, NY seeks a Kitchen Assistant to support Chef Instructors and guests during cooking classes and events, ensuring hospitality and smooth operation.

You will prep, set up stations, monitor hygiene, assist with shopping for ingredients, and help drive retail sales of Zwilling products, while maintaining a clean, welcoming studio environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of food preparation or kitchen operations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused skills.
• Valid Food Handlers or Food Managers Certification.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily classes and events as directed by Chef Instructor and/or Resident Chef.
• Set up patron workstations before classes and events.
• Clean workstations during and after classes and events.
• Assist porters/dishwashers.
• Prepare for next day’s classes and events.
• Assist with shopping for class ingredients.
• Promote Zwilling products to boost retail sales.
• Represent the studio to build class participation and repeat business.
