Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is seeking a kitchen/food service teammate to support the hospital cafeteria. You will maintain sanitation, assist with stocking, and help keep the dining and storerooms clean and organized.

Applicants must be at least 18, communicate in English, work well in a team, and present themselves in proper uniform with good personal hygiene. Flexible schedules and benefits are available; background checks and vaccination considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment for the hospital cafeteria.
• Sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner.
• Support stocking and inventories by shelving and organizing delivered food and items.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 17.00 USD

Physical Requirements

Capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds

Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job

Preferred

• Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian)
