Job summary

The Chatham Inn is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment on site in Chatham, MA. You will operate dishwashing equipment, sanitize dishes, and support the kitchen team with a focus on safety and quality in every service.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors and workstations.
• Keep areas free from debris and hazards.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper food handling.
• Safely operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
• Report malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
