Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Culinary Specialist I to support recipe testing, product evaluations, and new item launches. You will help maintain recipe documentation, assist with product data, and participate in test kitchen activities to ensure quality and consistency.

Collaborate with Culinary, Merchandising, and Store Operations teams to drive successful product introductions, while developing culinary and retail food production skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or culinary certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of culinary or related experience.
• Internship or culinary school experience welcomed.
• Basic culinary techniques and food preparation knowledge.
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Interest in retail food operations and product development.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support Culinary Team in recipe testing and new item launches.
• Maintain recipe documentation and production procedures.
• Participate in test kitchen activities and tastings.
• Gather store and field feedback on product execution.
• Review yields, portions, and ingredient information.
• Assist with food costing and product data maintenance.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Merchandising, and Store Ops on projects.
• Develop and maintain training materials and SOPs.
• Attend store visits, product demos, and pilot programs.
• Communicate any product execution issues to leadership.
