Job summary

U.S. Army Reserves is seeking a Culinary Specialist to cook meals and work with chefs to provide hot meals between training and deployments. You will prepare and service meals in field and home stations, order and inspect supplies, and maintain kitchen safety and sanitation.

15 nationally recognized certifications are available; ACASP options may streamline training and advancement. Enlistment in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prepare and serve meals in field and home-station environments.
• Order, inspect, and store food supplies to ensure safety and freshness.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen area and follow health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for Soldiers in field and home stations.
• Assist with inventory, equipment, and kitchen sanitation.
• Coordinate with chefs to ensure timely meal service.
