Performance Food Group is seeking a culinary consultant to build customer loyalty through one-on-one consultations, menu redesigns, and promotional programs. You will train staff and support events while collaborating with culinary teams to optimize pricing, sourcing, and merchandising.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3 years of food service experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management or related area preferred.
• 4-6 years culinary arts, hotel/restaurant and/or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistency of organization and operational standards of culinary center (sanitation, organization, ordering, product preparation, sales support).
• Serve as business consultant to build customer loyalty and promote sales; provide professional assistance to customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Mentor and teach food concepts; conduct training for customers on various topics.
• Collaborate with culinary team for customer menu development; cook for demos and events.
• Provide consultative services to develop long-term business relationships; respond to customer and vendor inquiries promptly.
• Evaluate food and labor costs savings through observation; assess customer service quality.
• Increase expertise in cooking-related activities and ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
