Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a role focused on building customer loyalties through consultative approaches, including menu redesign, staff training, and development of promotional and merchandising programs.

The position involves serving as a trusted advisor to customers, teaching food concepts, and supporting on-site programs while collaborating within the department and organization to drive profitability and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 3 years of food service experience preferred.
• Experience in consultative selling or customer-facing roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business consultant for customers to build loyalty and promote sales.
• Mentor, lead and teach food concepts; conduct in-house training seminars.
• Design and develop customer menus; create ideas for customers and cook for events.
• Provide consultative services to develop long-term business relationships; respond to customer and vendor inquiries.
• Evaluate food and labor costs savings through observation.
• Evaluate customer service through observations.
• Increase expertise of cooking related activities and ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the company.
