Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the food service program, ensuring high food quality, safety, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
  • Conduct staff training, quality control, and perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with client managers, staff, and residents.
  • Follow safety protocols, infection control, and proper handling of cleaning solutions.
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance.
  • Represent HCSG professionally and courteously.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality (preferred).
  • Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision (preferred).
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
  • Obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and record-keeping.
  • Residency within the service area required.
