Responsibilities:
- Oversee food service at a single site, ensuring high standards in food quality, safety, and customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of finances, inventory, staff, and equipment using HCSG software.
- Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles such as dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
- Ensure safety protocols, proper use of cleaning solutions, and report equipment issues.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a sanitary environment.
- Maintain punctuality and complete tasks timely.
- Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
- Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision preferred.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred or as required by law.
- Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within 14 days of employment.
- Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Residency within the service area required.
