Qualifications

  • Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within 14 days of employment.
  • Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred or as required by law.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food service at a single site, ensuring high standards in food quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of finances, inventory, staff, and equipment using HCSG software.
  • Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles such as dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
  • Ensure safety protocols, proper use of cleaning solutions, and report equipment issues.
  • Follow infection control procedures and maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Maintain punctuality and complete tasks timely.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
  • Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred or as required by law.
  • Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within 14 days of employment.
  • Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Residency within the service area required.
