The Ashton on the Plaza, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a dedicated Culinary Services Cook in Kansas City, MO. You will prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring nutrition, safety and efficiency in a fast-paced dining team.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Experience with volume meal preparation for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred; read recipes, work in a team, flexible shifts, multitask, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized and efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services including service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Cleans after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored properly.
