Job summary

The Waterford at Plymouth, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Dining Services Chef to prepare healthy meals for residents and follow standardized recipes to ensure quality. You will honor individual food preferences and dietary restrictions while maintaining safety and cleanliness in dining areas.

Responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen staff, ensuring timely service, and upholding all health, safety, and regulatory standards in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality in meal preparation.
• Adhere to each resident's documented food preferences, including likes and dislikes.
• Comply with all resident dietary restrictions and food allergy requirements to ensure safe meal preparation and service.
• Maintain standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Report problems, concerns and issues observed with food service and communicates them appropriately.
• Observe changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules to include local and state requirements.
