Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a Culinary Services Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a sanitary, organized setting. You will support the Culinary Services Director and ensure efficient dining operations for residents.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and a Food Service Sanitation Certificate; experience with large-group meal prep and teamwork is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Experience with volume meal prep for large groups preferred.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and work in a team.
• Willing to work flexible shifts and handle multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in the proper place.

Culinary Services CookResponsibilities include:

• Some supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing
