Job summary

The Waterford at Decatur is seeking a Culinary Service Assistant to serve residents and guests in the dining room and assist with food preparation and set up. You will help maintain dining areas, restock refreshment centers, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance under established procedures.

The role includes supporting smooth daily operations, adherence to schedule, and contributing to a positive dining experience for residents and guests in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.
