Job summary

Sonida Senior Living is seeking a Culinary Service Assistant at Summit Place & Summit Court in Anderson, SC. This role supports dining services for residents across assisted living, memory care, and independent living settings.

The position emphasizes timely, courteous service, food preparation support, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Eligible applicants should have 1–2 years in a similar role and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation and cleans up, washes dishes and sets up/takes down dining areas.
• Prepares and serves snacks, replenishes stock in common area refreshment centers.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards to comply with regulations.
• Adheres to regular work schedule to ensure efficient food service.

Culinary Service Assistant Responsibilities Include

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.
