Job summary

Forefront is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to support the culinary department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards while ensuring resident safety. You will assist cooks, prepare and serve meals, set up dining areas, and maintain cleanliness per established schedules and policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or long-term care food service preferred.
• Understanding of safety and infection control guidelines is helpful.
• Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines using dietary utensils and equipment as assigned.
• Assist cooks in meal preparation and service.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations and department policies.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Report supply and equipment needs per procedures.
