Job summary

Forefront is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to support the culinary department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures. The role ensures resident safety through compliant food service, cleaning, and timely meal assistance.

The successful candidate will assist cooks, set up dining rooms, help with trays and carts, and participate in mandatory training to uphold quality and safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Follow Federal and State regulations and Culinary Services Department policies and procedures.
• Complete mandatory training and competencies annually.
• Be knowledgeable of HIPAA, safety and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines using dietary utensils and supplies.
• Assist cooks in meal preparation and service.
• Set up dining area and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow cleaning schedules and report supply needs.
• Attend in-service programs and participate in safety drills.
