Job summary

Forefront Healthcare seeks a Part-time Culinary Services Aide to perform designated work and cleaning routines for the culinary department, ensuring resident safety and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will assist the cook, set up dining areas, prepare and serve meals, manage trays and dishes, follow infection control and safety procedures, attend trainings, and participate in department meetings as directed by the Chef Manager.

Qualifications

• Follow Federal and State regulations and Culinary Services Department policies.
• Knowlege of facility rules, regs, policies and procedures.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Complete mandatory training and competencies annually.
• Maintain resident safety and confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks in meal preparation and service.
• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain sanitation.
• Arrange trays, load food carts, and serve meals.
• Set up dining room and assist residents.
• Wash, store dishes and manage kitchenware.
• Receive and store food and supplies.
• Attend in-service training and safety drills.
• Adhere to safety codes and infection control.
• Follow fire and disaster plans during drills.
• Participate in department meetings and training.
