Jennings in Garfield Heights, OH is seeking a CULINARY SERVICE ASSISTANT for assistant living to ensure residents receive timely, attractive, high-quality meals and snacks. This full-time role includes weekend work every other weekend and holidays, following infection control procedures, serving on the tray line, setting up trays, and assisting in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Follow oral directions.
• Set up trays and tables.
• Serve on tray line.
• Serve trays to residents.
• Bus trays.
• Pour and cover beverages.
• Assist in food preparation and covering.
• Clean work area.
• Use and care for kitchen equipment.
• Attend in-service training programs for Food Service staff.
• Work in other hospitality areas as needed.
• Observe infection control procedures.
• Follow Residents’ Rights policies.
• Understand therapeutic diets.
