Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services, in Houston, is seeking a dedicated Culinary Server to support our community's dining program. You will assist in all phases of service, from setting tables to delivering meals with warmth and care.

You must be able to read and follow instructions, communicate clearly with residents and staff, and handle kitchen equipment safely. This full-time onsite role requires a team player who can contribute to a welcoming, respectful dining environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand business documents written in English.
• 21+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.
• Ability to follow basic written and oral instructions.
• Ability to move food serving and preparation equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set tables; bus tables, wash off tables after meals.
• Prepare beverages and food as required.
• Serve food in dining rooms or other areas as required.
• Serve beverages to residents as required.
• Wrap silverware.
• Wash dishes; clean and sanitize carts and work area.
