Job summary

The role involves serving meals, assisting in events, and keeping accurate records; experience is a plus, and English literacy is required. Weekend, evening, and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing, providing residents with a quality dining experience.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering food carts, trays, and supplies to designated areas; works in the servery.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work areas and equipment; assists in daily cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Assists in executing special events and participating in their planning and preparation.
• Distributes, collects, and counts menus as necessary.
• Maintains current and accurate records through documentation per standards.
